Dictionaries For Little People

In Early Years I have always had Oxford Reading Tree Very First Dictionaries available in my book corner. Unfortunately my new school does not have them nor currently an alternative. I have tried to order some but have been told that they are out of print. Does anyone have any idea where I can get hold of some, or an alternative? They are lovely because each page contains 6 pictures and corresponding captions rather than being word heavy. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Last year we made or own picture dictionaries. Children were asked to look for pictures/photos etc beginning with the letter of the week. They were stuck into a scrap book with the letter and captions/words underneath. Over time they became great resources and are regularly truned to in the book corner. We will be doing it again after christmas!!

Maybe if you know the format you like you could make your own and let the children take ownership of them. :o
