Rea Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 It was suggested to me today that staff do not do paperwork during the session. 'Ok' thought I, (will endeavour to do more at home and make money by selling marital bed as it's size will be surplus to requirements) But wait... comment also included doing observations! Laugh....I could of but thought it better to explain the intricate details of my job. What a wonderful start to the term.   Quote

Beau Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 Hmmm, I had this last year Rea. All of my committee were against all paperwork (and paying me for it) so I ended up doing most of my observations on the days when the committee mums weren't on duty or scribbling something on a piece of paper when they weren't looking. I did defend myself and tell them it was a requirement not an optional but their sour faces were too much for me to bear. Just stick to your guns though - committee's come and go but you need to just carry on doing what you do best. (And I don't mean sticking pins in voodoo dolls..........although it helps. ) Quote
Susan Posted September 8, 2004 Posted September 8, 2004 beau Just keep that sense of humour Rea Quote
Sue R Posted September 9, 2004 Posted September 9, 2004 I can only second Susan and Beau's comments! We're all here for a good moan whenever you feel like it! Sue Quote
