Susan
For all of us going back to school this week, have a good term. For those of you who are continuing as normal, hope the next few weeks treat you well as well. Anyone unwell (Mundia especially), get well soon and for Nichola hope your op and recovery are smooth. Guest
Well, here it is then! The start of a new term. I love going back, catching up on news from colleagues, chatting about the hols............. and then I wish I was back at home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't last long, but I wonder sometimes, why I feel like I am itching to get back! There's been a lot of work to do over this break and nursery hasn't been far from my mind all the time (except when we went away for a week) Are all early years folk like this do you think?????!!!!! Ah well. Onwards and upwards. If you are back today, like me................... enjoy!!!!!!!

Guest
As I haven't got a preschool to go back to I have been reminiscing over the last few days of what it was like this time last year, I miss the 'looking forward to getting back' feeling, but I am also glad that I haven't spent the last few nights working away on my computer, normally ALL night crisis managing the final lots of paperwork I had been putting off all summer holidays, such as registers, planning, staff employment/ inductions etc. So, Have fun everyone and even though you will be shattered, spare a thought for me, Peggy no mates, at home, alone, awaiting news of what's happening out there, I'll be here on the forum waiting for your news. Guest
As if! You've virtually got hundreds! Ah thanks Maz, I know, just feeling a bit left out at this 'exciting' time in the history of EY's. Haven't quite decided whether I'm sad or relieved though. Peggy

Motherclanger
Hi peggy ! I know what you mean ! I gave up my job at the end of the summer term as pre-school supervisor and as yet not got a new one ! I had lunch on monday with the lady who is taking over from me (she was my deputy)and she is already stressed about the job and they haven't even started back ! So i'm glad not to be going back and then on the other hand I really miss all the children and other members of staff that i worked with.
