Pc Protection

I recently had a computer crash. The repairer blamed the virus protection I was using as not powerful enough and has installed a trial version of Kaspersky. Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it as good as he says?

I'm using Kaspersky at the moment after a virus completley wiped everything from my computer whist i was using Norton. I rate kaspersky quite highly and it was recommended by my bank. It appears to keep everything out without annoying pop ups which i found with Norton.

I think it cost about £16.00

hi,

Avast is highly recommended by several friends of mine in the pc business. Its an improvement on AVG which i used up until a few months ago, which kept missing certain virus types. Its free and runs a shield too, and is very easy to use.

You can download it here: AVAST: FREE
