Guest Posted July 3, 2008 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Hi, Today I received a pack of booklets for parents entitled 'Your guide to the Early Years foundation stage - what does it mean for you and your child?' These were issued by the Schools, Children and Families Directorate (Standards and Improvement- Early Years and Childcare) for Essex County Council. They have info on what is the EYFS, themes and principles, areas of learning and development, working with parents and useful contacts. I've got 20 with the option of phoning up for more.
