Guest Posted June 13, 2008 Share Posted June 13, 2008 i have had to inform ofsted about a child who took ill at nursery and had to go to hospital. I have followed this up in writing. Guest Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 We had to inform them when one of our children had suspected meningitis. We'd been contacted by the Health Protection Unit (HPU) and they told us to telephone OFSTED as part of everything else we had to do OFSTED told us to confirm everything we'd done in writing. we got a letter about three months later acknowledging the letter and that was it. Guest Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Thankyou for you advice child had a seizure the hospital have not been able to find out why, it lasted for 1 hoiur 15 mins, no previous history, no bumps, no temp ect. Guest Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Went to see him today they are hoping to let him go home tomorrow he was happy, chatty and lively. As soon as he saw me he started dancing which he loves dancing, fed him his tea and sat and played cars with him for a while (rory the racing car), he cried when it was time to go think he wanted to come back to nursery with me.
