Guest
I've just started a FD and need to think about professional and personal action plans. The professional one is fine and lots of ideas to develop practice but I'm stuck for ideas for personal targets- I know they are very individual but has anybody got any brainstorming ideas?? Lou
Hi Try and think of personal areas you would like to develop they could be ict skills, spelling, maths, that sort of thing.
Guest
One of mine was time management. I was rubbish at it last year and I'm still rubbish at it now, but it is something I am working on. Another one I had was developing a balance between professional and personal reactions to situations. I reacted quite badly to a health and safety issue whilst at my last nursery, and rather than look at it from the professional point of view, I took it personally so had to work on that with a development plan. Another one I had was dealing with conflicting feelings such as feeling bad when I had an assignment to do and worrying about neglecting my family. Ooh me too. Perhaps we could start an online community for time-management-phobes. If only we had the time... Maz
