Deb
Hi everyone Wondered if anybody has any writing paper or know of a link to a website to inspire children, especially boys. Would like Spiderman particularly, might have to try to make something myself. Thanks
Marion
I did some training last month (Write Away) and one suggestion was to give boys small pieces of paper to write on as they are often put off by the idea of having to fill a side of A4. Apparently a bonus side effect is that they begin to write smaller too.
mundia
Conversely I also found that give them huge pieces of paper and chunky markers on the floor, and they are well away. I also found that shaped paper, cars rockets etc are also boy friendly.
Deb
Thanks Mundia and Marion, both great ideas and really simple when you think about it. Keen to put into practice tomorrow.
Sue R
My experience is, simply give them paper and markers, they'll find a reason within their roleplay!
