Direct Debit/standing Order

Recommended Posts

I know that there are forum members that take payments by standing order, so I'm sure you will get some helpful advice soon...

With regards to direct debits, I know at one time banks were reluctant to authorise this form of payment. Parenta offer a fee planner service (with additional charges) but they act as debt chasers if you ever had a parent that missed a payment.

I use standing order, issued each term, fees total divided by 3 for three monthly payments. I do it termly rather than annually because there are always adjustments each term.
