JacquieL Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Just posting to point out that I have addedd a seaside role play into the Resources Library under planning, and also a drama plan called 'The Beach'. I think that they might be a bit late for this term unless you have to struggle on until the end of July.

JacquieL Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 Well the best bit Helen is if you have someone in role as a very old lady on the beach ( see the drama) who has lost her memory and the children tell her and show her what to do at the seaside. Dress the 'old lady ' up suitably and she interacts with them. I find that the children can be incredibly kind, and show her how to make sandcastles, eat ice-cream, change for paddling etc. Great fun.
