Guest Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 Our centre manager told us last week that a children centre in Kent had been visited!!!!and was awarded 'outstanding' Just wondering if anyone on here from down south knows anything about it? Unsworth
catma Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 There are currentl 6 reports on the Osfted website (as of friday): 1 outstanding (not in Kent, but can't recall where) 3 good 2 satisfactory If you're in a CC I would recommend reading them with a fine tooth comb as they are very informative. Cx
JacquieL Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Thanks for that catma. Our CC is overdue an inspection so it will be under the new regime and this will be very helpful.
Guest Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 thanks for that Catma I am in CC so will have a good read now!!Unsworth
catma Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 It may in fact be 2 good and 3 satisfactory, but if you read them in order of grading you can really see the progression of what they are looking for. Interestingly they were all done within the same 2 week window - suggesting a "moderation" of judgements across the country as they are all in different areas, rural and urban. Cx
