As everyone has said we all have children that we struggle to find anything positive about so dont blame yourself.
We currently have a child who none of the staff feel 'safe' being alone with to the point of Thursday the head sent for her mother. The child in question kicked and punch her mother until the mother began to cry at which point she pushed her face into her mothers and smirked (luckily I was at a meeting) We had to take advice from the LEA and she is now considered a hazard in the unit. Unfortunately as we are a unit we have another year to look forward to.

Bunnies on a Hil
There were six little bunnies a-sittin' on a hill, (hold up fingers)
Six little bunnies were oh..so still. (stand really still and stiff)
They sniffed the air, and one hopped away (sniff in air and then move one finger away)
How many bunnies were left to play? (shrug shoulders)
There were five little bunnies a-sittin' on a hill, (hold up fingers)
Five little bunnies were oh..so still. (stand really still and stiff)
They sniffed the air, and one hopped away (sniff in air and then move one finger away)
How many bunnies were left to play? (shrug shoulders)
There were four little bunnies a-sittin' on a hill, (hold up fingers)
Four little bunnies were oh..so still. (stand really still and stiff)
They sniffed the air, and one hopped away (sniff in air and then move one finger away)
How many bunnies were left to play? (shrug shoulders)
There were three little bunnies a-sittin' on a hill, (hold up fingers)
Three little bunnies were oh..so still. (stand really still and stiff)
They sniffed the air, and one hopped away (sniff in air and then move one finger away)
How many bunnies were left to play? (shrug shoulders)

No Hill but lots of bunnies
Baby Bunny
Baby bunny dressed in blue
Met another then there were two
Bouncy bunnies to the left
Bouncy bunnies to the right
Bouncy bunnies get in bed
Off to bed you sleepy heads.
Bunny
Here comes a bunny, hip-hop-hop
See how his long ears flop, flop-flop-flop
See how his nose goes, twink-twink-twink
See how his eyes go, wink-wink-wink
Here is a bunny with ears so funny
And here is his hole in the ground
A noise he hears
And he pricks up his ears
And hops away without a sound.
Bunny, Bunny
Bunny, white bunny with ears so tall.
And your two pink eyes and a mouth so small.
Wiggle goes one ear; wiggle goes the other.
Hop, hop, hop, hop; home to your mother!
Bunny Movement
See the little bunnies sleeping till it's nearly noon
Come and let us gently wake them
With a merry tune
Oh, so still? Are they ill?
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop, hop, hop
Hop little bunnies, hop and stop!
Bunny Pokey (tune of Hokey Pokey)
You put your ears in, you put your ears out
You put your ears in, and you shake them all about
You do the bunny pokey, and you turn yourself around
That's what it's all about!
You put your cute nose in...
You put your white paws in...
You put your cotton tail in...
You put the bunny in...
Bunny Rabbits
Bunny rabbits have no tails, have no tails, have no tails,
Bunny rabbits have no tails, they have powder puffs!
Did You Ever See A Bunny (tune of Did You Ever See a Lassie)
Did you ever see a bunny, a bunny, a bunny
Did you ever see a bunny, that hops so slow
He hops and hops and hops and hops
Did you ever see a bunny that hops so slow?
That hops so fast...
That hops backwards...
That hops on one foot...
Five Little Bunnies
Five little bunnies are such dears!
The first little bunny has pink ears.
The second little bunny has soft toes.
The third little bunny sniffs with her nose.
The fourth little bunny is very smart.
The fifth little bunny has a loving heart.
Five Little Rabbits
Five little rabbits under a long.
This one said, "Sh! I hear a dog."
This one said, "Hush I see a man!"
This one said, "Run while you can!"
A man and his dog went scurrying by.
And you should have seen those rabbits fly!
Here Comes Bunny
Here comes bunny-hop, hop, hop.
Two long ears that flop, flop, flop.
Bunny, bunny, won't you stop?
No, I must go! Hop, hop, hop!
Here is a Bunny (tune of Mulberry Bush)
Here is a bunny with ears so funny,
Ears so funny, ears so funny.
Here is a bunny with ears so funny.
And here is his hole in the ground.
He pricks up his ears when a noise he hears,
Noise he hears, noise he hears.
He pricks up his ears when a noise he hears,
And jumps in his hole in the ground.
Hop and Stop
The first little rabbit went hop, hop, hop.
I said to the first rabbit, "Stop, stop, stop!"
The second little rabbit went run, run, run.
I said to the second rabbit, "Fun, fun, fun!"
The third little rabbit went thump, thump, thump.
I said to the third rabbit, "Jump, jump, jump!"
The fourth little rabbit went sniff, sniff, snuff.
I said to the fourth rabbit, "That is enough!"
The fifth little rabbit went creep, creep, creep.
I said to the fifth rabbit, "It's time to sleep!"
I'm a Little Bunny (tune of I'm a Little Teapot)
I'm a little bunny with a cotton tail
See me hopping down the trail
When I see a carrot, my ears they shake
And then, of course, a bite I take.
Crunch!
My Rabbit
My rabbit has two big ears
And a funny little nose.
He likes to nibble carrots
And he hops wherever he goes.
Rabbit
Here is a bunny with ears so funny
And here is his hole in the ground
When a noise he hears, he pricks up his ears
And hops in his hole in the ground.
Rabbit Doesn't Have a Tail At All (tune of London Bridge)
Rabbit doesn't have a tail at all, tail at all, tail at all,
Rabbit doesn't have a tail at all, just a powder puff.
His ears are longer than his tail, than his tail, than his tail
His ears are longer than his tail, it's just a powder puff.
Sweet Bunny
There is nothing so sweet as a bunny.
A dear, little, sweet little bunny.
He can hop on his toes. He can wiggle his nose.
And his powder puff tail is quite funny!
The Bunny
Once there was a bunny
And a green, green cabbage head.
"I think I'll have some breakfast," this little bunny said.
So he nibbled and he cocked his ears to say,
"I think it's time that I be on my way."
This Little Bunny
This little bunny has pink eyes.
This little bunny is very wise.
This little bunny is soft as silk.
This little bunny is white as milk.
This little bunny nibbles away
At cabbages and carrots every day.

) and have it on standby for when i am shattered from jumping in the snow. Promise my picture will not jump on screen though.

We are also a FSU. We have literacy and numeracy input at the beginning of each session seperately for nursery/reception then the children come together. We have 1 focused literacy and 1 focused numeracy per session plus 1 other focused activity. The fourth member of staff floats/observes. We have on average 27 areas some may be adult initiated depending on the help available (students/parent helpers) others will be child initiated. We also opperate free flow with further areas. We do not have whole class PE lessons choosing to work in smaller groups with SAQ/Brain Gym and Write Dance aswell as other physical activities usually outdoors.

I read the book in a night.............just couldnt put it down (although I think Angels and Demons is better Dan Brown)
Have mixed feelings about going to see the film as they rarely match up to the book.

Bee bots are available with e credits and are great for little hands. dont do quite as much as roamer but sufficient for FS needs. Our children ask for the buzzy bees
Cant remember off hand the name of the company offering free PC but rep is supposed to be phoning me next week (other hat as ICT co ordinator)

The link should take you to a small 2.5 litre dispenser which are currently on offer for £2.99 we havent had any bottles knocked off the dispensers but initially the children tried to lift them off to pour rather than use the tap.
We also opperate a snack bar system which works much better for us than stopping for a snack session.

Seal Training
in School Curriculum and General issues
Posted
Hi Becky I did the SEAL training some time ago and it was decided that Staff would do their own planning from the SEAL materials and incorporate our existing PSHE materials where possible. All staff have copies of their year materials and resources (posters photos are kept centrally) I am hoping to be working with Peter Mullhollands team next term to develop things in school. Have you got the additional materials published recently?
