I see the DofE has declared “By 2025, all education settings will have nominated a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan”. This includes early years settings, schools, multi-academy trusts, colleges, and universities. (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sustainability-leadership-and-climate-action-plans-in-education#msdynmkt_trackingcontext=662d9927-17d5-4b7c-9d04-b2cc0ffe0100 And there is training for us e.g. from the Early Years Alliance - I am all for helping our little treasures (and indeed staff!!) to be more climate aware but I have only just heard of this and it is already 2025!! Anyone done any done any of the training?

Looks a good online training - is it open to those outside Bedfordshire?

☺️ My goodness very generous of you to open up membership for free. Your forum has been a great help over many years but our local authority did not join your scheme and it was a bit too much for me to pay on top of other things needing payments - we mere mortals spend our own hard earned pennies on things for our little treasures as funds in our pre-schools are very tight! So a very big THANK YOU from me!
