Guest Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 How about pretending to be caterpillars, each child being another part of the caterpillar with 2 legs, I find this helps clarify how many more 'lots of 2' idea. Hope this helps!

You can use an egg box and put two seeds in each box and then count them, my children also love whispering the odd numbers and shouting (talking louder) the even numbers. They can also count feet, hands, eyes etc. There are also resources on primary resources website. Joanie
