Guest Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I'll watch and let you know but if you're online and see this then tune in! Might be interesting! Quote
beth1 Posted May 28, 2007 Posted May 28, 2007 I have seen this a few weeks back, I am sure I posted on the forum. What did you think of it? I though some of it was good. Beth Quote
Lou Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 I found it interesting. As usual the politicians are playing the opposition game. We have had a curriculum for the under fives and this is no different it just links everything together. I aim to continue with the way I work now just use different words when observing. Even if it turns into a tick list I will back it up with observations which it what I do now. People are placing too much attention on the children having to follow a curriculum when the emphasis should be on the practitioners having to do a bit more paperwork. Trained practitioners will still be able to teach through play and I don’t think the way we deliver the curriculum will have to change. I think instead of looking at the bad points we should focus our energy into making the best opportunities for our children (that is not aimed at any one on here.) If I hit a problem then I will ask for help (probably on here.) Lou Quote
