Lou Posted May 29, 2007 Share Posted May 29, 2007 I found it interesting. As usual the politicians are playing the opposition game. We have had a curriculum for the under fives and this is no different it just links everything together. I aim to continue with the way I work now just use different words when observing. Even if it turns into a tick list I will back it up with observations which it what I do now. People are placing too much attention on the children having to follow a curriculum when the emphasis should be on the practitioners having to do a bit more paperwork. Trained practitioners will still be able to teach through play and I don’t think the way we deliver the curriculum will have to change. I think instead of looking at the bad points we should focus our energy into making the best opportunities for our children (that is not aimed at any one on here.)
