Guest Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 DOes anyone have any idea of the dimensions of a large dinosaurs footprint e.g. diplodocus? I want to draw out a life size print and then see how many of the children's footprints will fit in size. Been on google for ages but don't seem to be having any luck - know everything else about dinosaurs just not what i want to know! I'm having on of those days!

apple Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 have you thought about getting in touch with the British museum? or Ross from friends... he's a palaeontologist isn't he?
Guest Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Large sauropod footprints were found in China measuring 1.5mtr long x 1.3mtrs wide. Also see (near the bottom of page) http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/.../Qns98May.shtml Hope this helps Jo
Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 What a brilliant idea - we also have a child who loves dinosaurs, so if you don't mind I'll pinch your idea. Thanks Sam
