Teaching Re In The Foundation Stage

In the first half of the summer term our topic in school is under the sea. We have taken the idea for our pshe/ RE lessons to look at water and how it is precious and should not be wasted ... However although I have the idea I am having trouble finding suitable resources for this.

 

Can anone suggest any resources thay have used or seen that we might be able to use.

Yes, I agree with Mimi. I use the Rainbow Fish and around it you can work about friendship, live under the sea, importance of taking care of that environment (there you could introduce your sub-topic), etc. Other resources also available.

How about trying Christian Aid and Oxfam. their resources are for slightly older children but you could use the pictures and adapt the materials.
