Inge
Sorry, we have soft surfacing but our climbing frame is very steady when on it so doesnt need fixing, surface was supplied to for height of frame. msut say it has been so good to use it outside everyday and not have to constantly clear up after the bark. Beau
I asked my husband and he said "really long piles into the ground". He's not an expert though.
Sue R
And I'm simply no help at all. If it was at my setting, I'd say "Ask Barry" (our handyman)! Sue PS, I'll ask him, if you like, next time I see him.
Andreamay
thank you for your replies Im a little stumped about this! It may mean we perhaps dont have to have it fixed but will try and find out why it was fixed originally Beau - what does he mean by long piles? Sue R
From my (admittedly limited) understanding, in this case I believe Carol's husband is referring to the long 'things' driven into the ground to provide stability, such as those used to stabilise some drilling rigs. - Carol?? Beau
Sorry, yes Sue is right. They are long cylinders of metal which are driven into the ground. Obviously not any other sort of piles.
Andreamay
yes that had gone through my mind thats what we wanted (didnt know what they were called) Next question do you know where i would get them from? And again many many thanks
Sue R
I would think a civil engineering supplier or a groundwork company could help - try a google search? Sue (Make sure you clarify what sort of piles, though - )
Guest
Hi We also have a large soft surface which we try to use as creatively as possible although it doea tend to be mostly physical. We decided agaist fixed equipemnet as that would then limit felxibility. We use our climbing frame (square wooden with a slide) just positioned on top although it is always supervised.
