Guest
Thanks everyone. I just want to say that I feel like I post this kind of stuff every couple of months and I didn't expect anyone to get excited on my behalf, but thanks so much for all your good wishes! I am really pleased about this. I officially take over at the end of March but I start next week and the handover begins! I'll be doing three days a week until then and the childcare issue for Natalie is all sorted so I'm going to finish my coursework for this week and enjoy the weekend (expect drunken rambling declarations of love tomorrow night, as is now traditional for me when celebrating new jobs!). Shirel, I briefly worked in a high/scope setting a few years back and although it was hard work, it was very interesting. Good luck with it all and let us know how it goes! Thanks again, everyone! SmileyPR
Oh, Clare , I am so happy for you! You did very well waiting to get the children's confidence. Anyway, you weren't going to that classroom to offer an observed lesson or so , so your reaction was normal and appropriate. Well done and congratulations for obtaining the position.
