SmileyPR Posted January 7, 2007 Author Posted January 7, 2007 Thanks, Marion. I had gone to the web site. They used to sell FS 2 apart from Reception, but they don't do so anymore . So the FS 2 plans would be the same ones for Reception? Our Head-teacher gave me the Abacus resources for Reception, but not the weekly plans . I do have the ones for FS 2, which had different resources to those of Reception.
Susan Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 The Foundation Abacus resource is newer than the Reception one and when I compared the 2 better! I'm not sure that the reception had weekly plans in the same way.

Reception had weekly plans, but not so play based. With the FS2 you have different play areas where you can promote the application of what is being learnt in a whole group situation. Thanks!
