Challenging Parents

Can anyone please help?

I have nearly finished my first piece of Action Research on 'communications with parents'

I really need some literature on the negative aspect of parent involvement, when they want to 'run the school' does anyone know of any literature that would help me?

I searched google but everything I found about parental involvement was positive. If you could bottle the look I saw a deputy head give over a parent once you'd have everything you need.
