Guest
For a university topic has anyone found a website in early years or an outstanding nursery site that inspired them?
Steve
Are we including or excluding the FSF Sheila?

Sue R
So....? What's your topic? Do you have to discuss what makes them outstanding? If so, you'll have to include this one! The list is endless!!! Sue
Guest
What makes a good nursery website- why do you keep revisiting certain ones -what makes one stand out from another. Have you seen these new e prospectus- they turn over like pages in a book? I think my ones would be FSF, NDNA, CWDC and DEE. But I am looking for some other favourites and why?Im probably looking for information sites but does anyone know a local school or nursery with a website they wish they had? Steve
That's nice of you Sheila - now I feel like I was fishing for compliments... I've always quite liked the Hitchams ICT information website. Fairly basic layout but good and clear with lots of information. You can find it here if you don't know it already.

Running Bunny
I like the websites that Parenta produce. Hopes and Dreams is a nursery in London that I have visited (for a previous job) They have loads of info for parents that are looking to take their child to nursery for the first time as well as a 'parenting' part to the webiste, which includes health, tips and ideas, shopping etc. Parenta are also the company that do the e-prospectus for nurseries that Sheila was talking about, which is an innovative way to promote a nursery. I think that they should be user friendly, easy to navigate and contain up-to-date and relevant information. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to find information and not being able to find it or when you do, it is out of date.
Sue R
Woodlands School site is good, great for events and festivals and superb for 'odd events' - although the Lewes pea throwing wasn't there last time I looked - try here Steve - where's Helen's site gone? I thought that was rather good, was thinking of suggesting to our boss that he revamp ours to be more like that. OURS is DREADFUL!!
Steve
Err. Yes - Helen's site was my fault as well. Since we moved server I haven't put it back up and no-one has complained until now. Thanks...
