Guest
I just wondered if anyone had a weekly plan on introducing heavy and light. Thank you
Rea
Sorry, no I havent. But it reminds me of when I was little and being told a ton of feathers weighed the same as a ton of lead. Took years for me to work it out
Guest
I haven't got a weekly plan but last year I wrapped up three smallish identical sized boxes in Christmas paper then covered with sticky backed plastic. One was filled with plasticine (very heavy) one with something lighter (sorry I can't remember what) and one was empty. I put them in the home corner and used them as a basis for discussion during their free play when they attempted to pick them up. I also used them for focused activities with those that needed it.
