Guest MaryEMac Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 We decided that for Children in Need we would all (staff and children) wear something or bring in something yellow today and donate £1 or more to Pudsey. Everyone took part although a few of us had a problem finding something yellow to wear. I found a yellow daffodil brooch and one of the assistants put yellow ribbons in her hair. Another member of staff, ( we'll call her C ), asked her husband if he would pop into town and find her something yellow to wear like a T shirt or a scarf for instance. he came back with a bright yellow waterproof jacket, so she looked like a fisherman. Give her, her dues, she wore it all session. As she put it on at 9 am she said, "at least if someone throws up or has a toilet accident, I'll be ok. Famous last words!!! 40 minutes later one child threw up right next to C, after this was sorted another child went to the loo and had trouble cleaning himself. He called for help and who should be nearest? Yup it was C. She will never live that down. Mary PS I'm still trying to think of a limerick.
