Interview on Monday for a Deputy Preschool Leader, this is the one I would like, um wonder if I could be the B23 co-ordinatior? Then on Tuesday a nursery who had my C.V. from summer rang up about a room leader job, not sure which room it in. They are again interested in my exprience, relavant qualifications and the FDey, they say the maybe able to fit around the day at college. Well the job centre cannot say that I am not looking for jobs in the childcare setor. Beth Quote
Deb Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 By the way, at a treasurers network meeting last night (dedicated or what!!) we were told that our job application form cannot ask for a person's age or date of birth, and that any advert cannot state things like 'experienced person required ...' or 'lively graduate required' just thought I'd share that. You can ask at a later date for someone's age if for example you need to determine the level of minimum wage. Sorry to hijack your post Beth. Good luck. Let us know how you get on. Quote

It is a good idea but how willl a nursery manager really know how old a person is , as standards do set out that under 17's are not allowed to work with children unless supervised on placement. Imagine that, wonder what the big 'O' would say to that? Beth Quote
