Outside Surfaces

Hi

We are hoping to put large gates outside our pre-school so that we can use the area for outside provision. It is a rented hall so we can't make too many changes but the area is concrete as it is a large driveway.

Obviously we can't go digging it up to change the surface but wondered what other people did. We thought about a large carpet out there, some mats etc.

Any ideas?
