Sounds to me like you do lots for ict anyway. Don't worry about the other computers - use them as role play props? You know, draw and design your own paper 'screens' to go on the front?

We are in a similar situation. We have 2, one of hich does not work. Our head is big on ICT and insists that we don't have them. He hasn't quite grasped that we look at everyday technology rather than ICT. We have very few appropriate programmes for it and they take up so much space which could be used in much better ways!!

Claire as ICT co ordinator I would be more than happy with your use of ICT in the FS. You are providing all the right kinds of experiences for your children. Often we struggle on with inappropriate equipment when it isnt necessary rather than look at all the good things we are already doing. I mainly use the interactive whiteboard as it is so much easier for young children than a mouse and small screen and like you use the computer suite to develop mouse and keyboard skills for those children ready for this step
