Feelings Wall

In my classroom i am setting up a 'feelings wall' for next term. Ideas which we have so far are

* emotion flowers - children peg their name onto a flower which shows how they are feeling

* photo's showing various emotions

* variety of emotion story books to read hanging on the wall (its a low wall which i will be putting cushions next to)

*mood music to listen to.

Can anyone think of anything else which we could add to enhance the area?

:) How about a mirror? Also have you seen SEAL resources. They have fantastic photograhs showing different emotions.

Oh dear! When I read the topic title I thought it meant textures. :o

Sorry, I think my brain is befuddled - thats what you get from going on holiday and soaking up too much sun. :D

I was on the SEAL course earlier this year and one school used the emotion displays as a starting point for ircle time discussion. The children moved their own name/picture as their feelings changed through the day. Another display was used to help the children develop the vocabulary to describe how they felt.
