Guest Posted April 27, 2006 Share Posted April 27, 2006 In Child Initiated time, all my Reception boys (12 out of a class of 20) seem to want to play is Power Rangers. They put various large pieces of outdoor equipment together to make bases, wear the dressing up clothes as capes, then in the writing area make maps, wristbands and hats. They are using their imagination but the play does get very lively and I am not sure that much learning is going on. Some days I say 'no Power Rangers today'.
