If your child's setting (nursery, pre-school, childminder etc.) have decided to use the Booking and Invoices features on Tapestry, they are able to book children into sessions and then invoice them accordingly. After they have created an invoice for a child, they can choose to send this to you directly via Tapestry and email.

In this tutorial we'll go through how to access these invoices through the iOS app. It's also possible to access this information via the browser and on our Android app. You can view the tutorials for these here and here respectively.

Once you've logged in, head to to the Invoices tab at the bottom (1). Here you'll see all of the children you're linked to and their outstanding balance (2). Click on your child's name to view more details. You can also get here by following an invoice notification (3).

On the child's invoices page you'll see:

  1. Their current account balance at the top of the screen if this has been permitted.
  2. A timeline of their activity.
  3. Any payments that the setting has received.
  4. Information about the invoices that have been generated, including the status, invoice period, and total cost.
  5. To view an invoice click on the blue 'View PDF' button.

Once you've clicked into the PDF you'll be able to see the invoice's details (1). If you'd like to download a copy to access outside of Tapestry then click on the 'Download' button (2) and you'll be taken directly to the invoice in the browser. From here you can share (3) and save a copy to your device.

And that's it! If you have any questions about the content of your invoices please contact your child's setting directly.
