APPG for Childcare & Early Education: Financial Sustainability of the Sector Tuesday 14 March, 2pm – 3pm, online via Zoom

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

I’m pleased to extend an invitation from Steve Brine MP to attend the next meeting of the APPG for Childcare & Early Education on Tuesday 14 March from 2pm – 3pm online via Zoom.

Speakers at the meeting will include:

  • Maria Caulfield MP, Minister for Women
  • Alison Baulos, the Executive Director, The Center for the Economics of Human Development at the University of Chicago
  • Gabriella Conti, Professor of Economics, UCL
  • Councillor Asher Craig, Deputy Mayor, Children Services, Education and Equalities, Bristol City Council

The session will explore investment in our children’s futures, what sustainable funding for early years looks like, and to make the case for the return on investment for early education across a child’s life, as well as the UK economy.

Coming the day before the Spring Budget, this will be an exciting discussion on what the future of childcare should look like in the UK.

This session will be chaired by the APPG’s Chair Steve Brine MP.

If you wish to join us online you can click here to register via the APPG’s website. Joining details for the Zoom call will be sent out shortly before the meeting. If you have any questions, please email: childcareandearlyeducationappg@connectpa.co.uk.
