Recommended Posts

In this podcast episode Stephen chats to Ruth Jones who is a Speech and Language Therapist based in Wiltshire. They discuss how Ruth's core practice has developed over time, how we can start addressing ableism in our schools and the importance of connection over compliance. You can listen here.

Ruth has also written an article for the FSF: How can we ensure inclusive practice for Neurodivergent children?

I found it so interesting chatting to Ruth for this episode, particularly as it felt that we were both on similar journeys when it comes to better understanding ableism and the impact it has on our education system.  Ruth is neurotypical, but strives to be an ally for the neorodivergent community and the children she works with - i'd recommend a listen.
