is there a good book with recipes that my class could manage with minimal help. All they do at the moment is decorating biscuits! I'd like to do something bit more adventureous and keep within the healthly school ethos. Anyone done anything really successful? and if its anyway related to the theme of toys thats even better!!

thanks

our children enjoy making some dips to have with veg sticks and different breads.

bread is a very good make if you have access to an oven.

i know there are others on the forum, try a search or have you looked at the recipe section? recipes tried and tested!

I recently made smoothies with my class on tp. Great for healthy eating and ICT (with a blender), not so good for toys - sorry.

sandwiches /biscuits cut into different shapes, vehicles, animals(teddies)

(we always mix marmite and butter together which the children enjoy doing and we make our own cheese spread, grated cheese, butter and a drop of hot water)

Have also made tuna and mashed potato fish cakes and dipping sauce and mini jacket potatoes

We make cheese straw mixture and cut into different shapes or roll into snakes or marble shapes not so sure if this is healthy or not!
