Guest Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I have hear one sung to the tune of the little green frog Cluck cluck when the little red hen one day (Flapping arms) Cluck cluck went the little red hen (flapping arms) Cluck cluck when the little red hen one day (flapping arms) And they all went cluck cluck cluck But we know hens go sha la lal a la sha la la la la sha la la la la (jazz hands) We know hens go sha la la la la (jazz hands) they don't go cluck cluck cluck (shake heads and flap arms) Repeat (Bits in brackets are the actions to go with the song) Lola
Guest honeyw1 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Said the first little chicken with a queer little squirm, "I wish I could find A fat little worm." Said the second little chicken, with an odd little shrug, "I wish I could find A fat little bug." Said the third little chicken' With a sharp little squeal, "I wish I could find Some nice Yellow corn meal." Said the fourth little chicken with a sigh of grief, "I wish I could find A little green leaf." Said the fifth little chicken, With a faint little moan, "I wish I could find A wee gravel stone." "Now see here, said the mother, From the green garden patch, "If you want any breakfast, Just come her and scratch!" This is the only one I can think of apart from Chick Chick Chicken HW

Alison Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 Lola I know your problem trying to discribe little green frog song I tried to write it in my "regular songs" key ring (which I keep in my pocket as a prompt for songs at carpet time) and I couldnt even think of something as simple as writing "little green frog song"! the tune is very similar to an old sunday school song I remember. as for chicken songs I remember my children use to sing this one the words might not be 100% Im a spring chicken (actions- children stand and flap arms) Im yellow and small my legs are not long (bend knees like PC Plod) so i'll never be tall Im spring chicken (children stand and flap arms) Im yellow and small my feathers are fluffy (shiver and rub hand up and down arms) and there keeping me warm Im a spring chicken (children stand and flap arms) Im yellow and small yes Im a real spring chicken and Im having a ball (flap arms and turn/dance around on the spot) im a chicken Im a chicken and Im having a ball the tune..... um dont know sorry no help there are a load of verses but I dont know them either! any one else know it?
