Guest Posted March 30, 2006 Share Posted March 30, 2006 No one seems to have replied to this and I am not sure that I can be that helpful - but what about creating a role removal shop/office , lots of boxes that the children can fill with all their toys and pretend to take to their new school. You could in fact get them to fill the boxes for real - great for schema - use your trikes etc for transporting and set up the school office as a separate area - what about asking what they would like to put up on the walls, their favourite toys to take to their new building - perhaps even get them to do some artwork to take with them so they feel familiar and you can put up on the walls to make it more user friendly - I am sure they will all be very excited and with the same staff they probably won't be too overly concerned especially if its brand new.
