JacquieL
I have always bought fabrics from market stall, end of roll bundles or cheap fabric shops. There seem to be plenty of these places around and they are much cheaper than those in catalogues especailly designed for school. I have also, in the drapes and driftwood days, printed some with the chidlren, or used fabric crayons to decorated them. Printing with fabric inks can be very effective or even ordinary paint ( but you can't wash it) if you want something specific.
