finleysmaid
We have received some paperwork for a new chap who has come from a local Montessori setting it has three rows of observations marked I/U and K ….anyone know what this means? ( I am assuming a version of emerging developing and secure but i've racked my brains and can't work out what they stand for!
FSFRebecca
I’m not a Montessori specialist either .... if you are a Tapestry user, switch on the Montessori framework from your control panel and you will be able to see how the Montessori criteria map against EYFS. The refinements are listed there too! Our headings aren’t exactly the same but my best would be Introduced/understands with support/knowledge embedded (or similar?!) You might want to take a look at this Montessori article too as this was written by Sneha who worked for us adding the Montessori curriculum and she was a trained Montessori teacher! Hope it helps.
