Lauren
Hi everyone, Some of you may have experienced some errors today and yesterday whilst using Tapestry. Although you would have been able to access Tapestry you may have been unable to quickly move between pages or save new entries. This was the case between 13:10 and 13:23 GMT on the 7th of May and between 13:30 and 14:10 GMT today. We’d really like to apologise for that. As you know, we pride ourselves on our levels of availability and do all we can to ensure that your access to Tapestry is uninterrupted. Unfortunately, at points over the last two days we have experienced an increase in load on our servers. This essentially means that our servers, which keep Tapestry available, are trying to do too much at once and can’t handle the strain. As a result, they can slow down or fail to carry out the tasks we’re asking them to do (e.g. load pages, generate PDFs, and save new entries). We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this caused you, especially if it meant that you needed to repeat any work. Our developers are confident they have worked out what was causing this extra load and have resolved the issue so you should not experience the same thing again. You will be able to see a history of past issues and any current ones from our status page: http://tapestryjournalstatus.com/. If you have any questions about this, please do get in touch. Our email address is customer.service@eyfs.info. We always aim to get back to emails within 2 working days. Best wishes, The Tapestry Team
