Emmawill
Hi We are just about to open a baby room at my nursery and the room that the babies will be in does not have running water as it is a separate unit to our main nursery. Can anyone confirm if it is a statutory requirement to have running water in that room, we have in the main nursery. I have looked at the guidance and can find no mention of it. Does anyone else run like this and does anyone have any ideas how to make it work as I am looking at the portable sinks but these are quite costly. Stargrower
We don't have running water in our baby room or toddler room and it would be very costly to put in the pipework to have water at that end or our building. We do have a Kiddiwash sink for children and adults to wash their hands and have antibac gel for adults when needed. Our nappy change room is further down the corridor and this has a proper sink of course. It isn't the perfect situation but you just get used to it!
