Qualifications: Level 3 essential, Level 4/5 or Early Years Teacher status desirable

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Early Years manager to join our committee run village pre-school from September 2018. The right candidate will have a passion to lead, excellent knowledge of the EYFS and a commitment to seeing Bizzy Bees grow. You will manage the day-to-day running of the pre-school to include co-ordinating the provision of a caring, safe, secure and stimulating environment. You will manage a staff team, working in partnership with parents and the committee to ensure high standards are maintained at all times. You will be the designated safeguarding lead for the setting promoting the welfare of children, staff and parents/carers.

Bizzy Bees offers sessional & all day childcare to 2-4yr olds, Monday to Friday term time only in addition to five training days. 41.25hr working week, including 2.5 hours paid PPA (8:00am – 4:15pm).

Essential Criteria:

• Level 3 relevant qualification
• Previous management experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Safeguarding qualified
• Paediatric first aid trained
• Competent with Microsoft Office

Desirable Criteria:

• Level 4 or 5 qualification
• Previous experience of using Tapestry

Salary: Between £23 – 24,000, depending on experience. Salary band includes PPA and paid out of hours meetings.
