hi i don't know if anyone can help we have a little girl in my setting who may be autitic but has language delay. she finds it hard to understand the day routine so we have put in place a visual routine for this but she finds it hards to tell us how she feels. we thought it may be a good idea to have pictures of different emotions for her to sjow us how she feels. does anyone know were we could down load them or get some fom. Also any ideas would be greatfully recieved.

thank you in advance

Hi Karen

I tend to use Flashpro 2, which has good photos of lots of different situations. The other thing I use is to do a google image search. You can buy a teddy jigsaw which shows different emotions (I think it was from ELC) which can help with learning emotions. If you are still having problems locating something let me know what you're after and I can email/send some resources.

I was going to suggest the same as MARION, the SEAL materials, they are very good. Unless you have lots of ink in your printer, I suggest you order a copy, there are 147 photos of children showing facial expressions of a variety of emotions.
