Sneha
This screen is available from the Tracking tab on Tapestry and will show you the coverage of Montessori activities per child/group over a specific period or the full year. To access this screen you just need to go to the 'Tracking' tab at the top of the page (1), make sure you select 'Montessori' from the assessment frameworks along the top (2) and then in the 'Montessori Activities Overview' section either select the 'Individual View' or 'Group View' buttons (3). I'll start by looking at the individual view. To skip to the section of this tutorial on the group view, click here. Individual View Once you have selected one of the individual/group view options you will be able to see which page you are currently on at the top (1). Firstly, you can select the period for which you would like to see results as either; select period/full history or custom period (2). In this example we are viewing the full history. Once you have selected a period, you can then select the child for whom you would like to see activity coverage from (3). You can further filter your results according to Area and Sub Area (4). In this example I've chosen PL/AEL, Activities to develop fine and gross motor skills. You also have the option to include unapproved observations from the 'Filters' section (5). Remember you can clear your filter selections at any point by clicking on the 'Reset Filters' button (6). You can also export your results as a CSV and/or PDF file from the buttons in the right-hand corner (7). Once all your required filters have been applied, you will see a chart similar to the screenshot below. The list is broken down by Area, Sub Area, Activities (1). An activity with a green band and a number, indicates that an observation/manually overridden assessment has been added for that activity during the period you have selected (2). An activity with a red band and the number 0, indicates that no observation or manually overridden assessment has been added for that activity during the period you have selected (3). If you were to click on the number in this column, you will be able to see 'snapshot details' of which observation/s has or have contributed towards this score as follows: Group View Now let's have a look at the group view screen! You can select this option from the individual view screen just by clicking on the 'Group' tab at the top (1). You have the same filters options on this screen as the individual view, so you have the period options of: select period, full history or custom period (2). In this example we are viewing the full history. You can also filter by Area and Sub Area (3) and whether to include unapproved observations (4). The only filter that is different here is that you can now select a group of children to view this data for. You can select a group from the 'Children' section (5). If you want to change the order in which you would like your results to be sorted you just need to click on the 'Order' drop-down (6). Remember you can clear your filter choices at any point by clicking on the 'Reset Filters' button (7). You can export your results as a CSV and/or PDF file from the buttons in the right-hand corner (8). Once all your required filters have been applied, you will see a chart similar to the screenshot below. It is a list is broken down by Area, Sub Area, Activities. The group of children that you have selected will appear in a row at the top, you can use the scroller to see different children (2). An activity with a green band and a number, indicates that an observation/manually overridden assessment has been added for that activity during the period you have selected (3). If you were to click on the number in this column, you will be able to see 'snapshot details' of which observation/s has or have contributed towards this score. An activity with a red band and the number 0, indicates that no observation or manually overridden assessment has been added for that activity during the period you have selected (4).
