tish501
Hi cant say i have ever seen this on the forum before, but my manager doesnt know how to approach the problem with a member of staff.....she has love bites all over her neck, visible to the children ( and hers too) since she left her husband earlier this year... What can we say to her,or new policy ...not sure how to approach it ... your help would be much appreciated
lynned55
I dont know to be honest! I'll have a think and come back to you. I do know I would not be happy about a member of staff meeting/greeting parents like that. Not so bad with the children as they would probably just think it was bruising. Rob6692
Politely ask for the marks to be covered, either with makeup or clothing. Check your policy to see if it says anything about maintaining smart/appropriate appearances or something similar, it it's vague enough you could use it
FSFRebecca
I would be saying that it is not a 'professional look' and that it is a requirement of all staff to present themselves professionally at all times.
