Do i need to chose 'make active' before they get an email to set up their password? We want parents to receive the access email on a set date once all parents have been added. However, if they are not yet active on your system they will not be able to set themselves up to view the journal. The tutorial I have attached below explains this in much more detail. If you have already added the parents then scroll towards the second half of the tutorial (starting at 1 for the second part) and you can see how to prevent parents having access to journals until you are completely ready. Guest Posted November 14, 2016 Share Posted November 14, 2016 Hi there I hope you can help, we have 3 sets of twins in our setting and I am wondering how this will affect their accounts, will they be able to use the same email address for their children? Also some of the children came from a nursery where tapestry was used and I think that they area still active parents on their account, will they still be able to set up a new account using the same email address? FSFRebecca Posted November 14, 2016 Share Posted November 14, 2016 Hello, If a parent has more than one child at your setting you will only add the parent once (so only need one email) and you will attach all their children to them (rather than the other way round). If the parent has children at different settings the same is true in that they can use the same email but will need different passwords.
