If you are using Tapestry in a Reception setting, how many devices do you have? Do you have one per adult? If not, how do you manage obs if the adults are in different areas of the unit?

Im not in reception im pre-school but we have a large spread out setting so I decided to have one tablet per person...for this reason we bought amazon fires as they were so reasonable. We are really happy with them and they seem to be working well so far. ;)

Thank you Finleysmaid.

We have one per class but 2 adults per class who could be outside or shared areas of the unit. It's not enough is it really?

this is what are local school have and they are always fighting over them! they find it really annoying as by the time they have them in hand the children have stopped doing what you are trying to observe!

We have one each in our Pre-School and don't know how people manage to share as photo opportunities would be missed a lot. We just started with Tapestry this month and have managed to capture so many more experiences than would normally be done - especially whole group work!
