hillsidepotterswood Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Hi We think some of our staff need a bit of a kick up the bum so are going to hold a Mocksted Inspection next week. Has anyone got a prompt sheet for a Mocksted - more so on the questions to ask and how to ask them as the observation and document checking bit we've sorted? If anyone has anyhing they would like to share I would be very grateful. Quote
blondie Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 when we had our ofsted the most staff were questioned on was safeguarding- who they would speak to if had a concern child/ what if concern was with the staff/lead/manager?(whistleblowing)who was lado and phone number ( we had this information on staff notice board) key children - how they knew where their key child was and how they were going to move them on? how they would support a child with eal/speech difficulties? what they were expecting children to get out of the activity/area they were in and how they would support this? how did they know what other children in the setting needed so could support them too? how they helped parents support childs learning at home? about how they promoted diversity etc.,and how this was included in the planning/setting thats some starting points for you hopefully. 2 Quote
FSFRebecca Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 Have you looked at our articles? I talked to a couple of inspectors before the summer and they gave extremely useful guidance about what happens during an inspection - you can find the articles here: Ofsted articles Quote
