Guest Posted July 5, 2016 Share Posted July 5, 2016 Does anyone know the maximum number of people Ofsted will be prepared to have contact with from any one setting? At the moment, just our Chairperson can contact them, but we are requesting that our Supervisor also be recognised. Our Chairperson has also suggested that I as the administrator be permitted to discuss issues with them, but I'm not sure if that is allowed? Any ideas? lsp Posted July 6, 2016 Share Posted July 6, 2016 I seem to remember when we had to fill in 'that' form at the beginning of the year (the one with all the problems with nominated person etc) that it was the nominated person and two other named people. Actually glad you mentioned this as it has reminded me to contact Ofsted. We have just had AGM and one of the named people has left so will have to try and change it. If they go to the dashboard then go to self-service, then click on the 'individuals associated' update button they will see the individuals associated. If you need to add people they will need to start their own online account with Ofsted - they can register to do this using the link above. They can then associate themselves with a setting and go through all the DBS clearance checks etc. I've just checked my provision and we have 5 associated people - Registered person, Nominated person (the manager) and then 3 separate company directors.
