Money to spend on Technology for Pre-School

Hi everyone

We are a small committee run pack away pre school. We have been given some money to spend on Technology and the staff all have different ideas !

Have other settings had this opportunity? and if so what did you buy?

What kind of Technology equipment do others have at their settings ?

What have your children enjoyed?

Ours absolutely love the 'Bluebots' we bought a few months ago. They work on their own with the educational mats you can get with them but they also link to an iPad app so the children can programme them via the ipads too. The mats are great...all sorts of different ones to cover areas of learning. :1b

We have just bought a set of 4 remote control cars (rechargeable) which the children love. It has been interesting to see them develop ideas with these, such as making bridges, garages and roadways. We also bought 4 rechargeable hand held metal detectors and a kiddizoom camera which is very popular. I also purchased a CD player with a set of 6 headphones which is fab.
