westMidlands Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Hello peeps, I am wondering if you have any arrangement on how to deal with emergencies at the nurseries in out-of-hours (for example, alarm going off). It will be useful to know especially if the big chain operators manage this. Is the manager or regional manager responsible for attending the nursery in case of emergencies like this? Quote
finleysmaid Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 surely the keyholder would be the link? Quote
Guest Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Our alarm company has a list of key holders that they go through until someone answers the phone - I am first as the manager, and then the senior staff in order of how close to the nursery they live. If someone is unable to go, they either don't answer the phone or ask the person calling to call the next person on the list, so occasionally I have missed the first phone call, then they have been through everyone on the list and come back to me again!
