michaelle Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I seem to recall one about 10 melting snowmen which I think may have been on here recently, maybe that would be suitable.
Guest Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 I seem to recall one about 10 melting snowmen which I think may have been on here recently, maybe that would be suitable. 45035[/snapback] my nursery class have just finished a number display about snowmen - three tubby snowmen Standing in a row; Out came the sunshine And what do you suppose? One tubby snowman Said "Phew its hot!" He disappeared completely And melted on the spot. Then - two tubby Snowmen one tubby Snowman. you could also change to 'three sparkly snowflakes' etc
Guest Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Five little penguins sitting on an iceberg, Far, far away in a stormy sea................... If one little penguin fell into the water, How many penguins would there be?
Guest Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Look Out, Look Out, Jack Frost is about. Look out ! Look out ! Jack Frost is about ! He's after our fingers and toes; And, all throught the night, The gay little sprite Is working where nobody knows. He'll climb each tree, So nimble is he, His silvery powder he'll shake; To windows he'll creep, And while we're asleep, Such wonderful pictures he'll make. Across the grass He'll merrily pass, And change all its greenness to white; Then home he will go, And laugh, "Ho ! ho ! ho ! What fun I have had in the night !"
Beau Posted December 28, 2005 Posted December 28, 2005 Five little snowmen standing round my door. This one melted and then there were four. Four little snowmen beneath a green pine tree. This one melted and then there were three. Three little snowmen with caps and mittens blue. This one melted and then there were two. Two little snowmen standing in the sun. This one melted and then there was one. One little snowman started to run. But he melted away and then there was none.

Guest Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 My niece taught me this one: 5 little snowmen fat Each with a funny hat Out came the sun And melted one What a sad thing was that!
Guest Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 5_little_snowmen_fat.doc I've made a rhyme card. Anybody know any simple rhymes that aren't about snowmen, but being cold etc?
Guest Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Little Jackie Jack Frost. Little Jackie Jack Frost bites my nose, Little Jackie Jack Frost stings my toes. Little Jackie Jack Frost climbs the trees, Little Jackie Jack Frost paints the leaves. Little Jackie Jack Frost thinks its fun, Knocking all the leaves down one by one. When the winter wind begins to blow, Little Jackie runs away, ho, ho.

Guest Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 from my files feel free to use.I've taken my Winter songs and Christmas files to nursery but I have a reworking of 'Eskimo's live in the land of snow' to cover polar bears, penguins, seals and whales that I came up with for a Polar animal topic where we had an animal a week and added a verse each time.I'll fish it out and post it next week goes something like Polar bears live in a land of snow, In icy burrows long and low, Dressed in fur from head to toe, It's fun to live in a cold land
